Within one hour of meeting a man the majority of women know if they are truly interested in pursuing more then simple small talk with him. I'd like to say that a woman isn't shallow and that we truly care about what is inside of a man but the vast majority of us base our attraction on plain old looks followed by other critical things. This is not to say that an attraction cannot build over time between two people because it can, but the majority of women will evaluate a man when they first meet and decide if there will be a second date or even a first date. Here are five things that women notice about men when they first meet. 1) Looks Yes, women are shallow and we base a lot off of looks. There need to be certain amount of physical attraction. So the very first thing a woman will notice is if the man is her type. Does he appeal to her physically? A woman's physical tastes in a man are often quite diverse. I find a wide range of men to be attractive. There is no set type. I like tall men and short men. I like men with hair and I like men without hair. It truly just depends on some key things that will click when I see a man that tells me if there is a physical attraction. Scientists claim that we actually smell men to determine if they would be a good mate or not. 2) Grooming Habits This is a big one for most women. We want to see a man that is clean. He should have clean hair, clean skin, and clean teeth. 3) Smell Yes, smell is important to most women. A man needs to truly smell good. He does not need to have expensive cologne but he does need to smell clean and fresh. 4) Mannerisms How does he move? Is he soft spoken and quiet? Does he move around a lot when he talks. Mannerisms are important. We each have our own taste when it comes to a mans actions. Some women prefer a more aggressive man but others like a calm and soothing personality. We judge a lot about personality simply by how a man moves his hands and how he looks in our eyes when we talk. Is he genuinely listening to us or simply humoring us as we talk? This is all very important in that first initial meeting. 5) Voice and Speech How does he sound when he speaks? Is he calm and soft spoken or loud and rude? Many men are simply not as sedate as we would like them to be. Many men are rude and outspoken during even a first date. This will all matter when it comes to deciding if you will want to date him on a second date. Normally if we are attracted to the man then we will also be attracted to his speech and voice. It is the whole package scenario that so many women are seeking. These five things are what a woman notices first about a man generally. This often changes as we age. I think that in our youth we focus far more on looks than other things but as we age looks are not quite as important as they once were.
