MILO Junior Ball Champions Donate To Dzorwulu Special School

Garrison Primary and Junior High school (JHS) winners of the 2012 Milo Junior Ball Championship have donated part of their prize package to the Dzowulu Special School in Accra. Garrison Primary & JHS put up a vintage performance to win the 2012 edition of the Milo Junior Ball for the first time in the annals of the competition after they edged past the little Zebras of Mfantsipim Basic School. The historic move by the Burma-camp based school was initiated by the event organizers, Rite Multimedia and its partner Nestle Milo and the idea was to inculcate and instill into the children (players), the art of sharing with the less privileged in society, no matter how small or big the package is. In a speech, the captain of Garrison School, Desmond Billah said the donation serves part as efforts to give back to the needy in society as well as contribute their quota to their development. He called on the children at the Special School to continuously pray for them to retain their title next year. He hoped the items which included 4 Cartoons of Milo RTD, 4 boxes of Milo 20g, 4 cartoons of Ideal Milk 410g and 4 boxes of Ideal Powder plus 200 Ghana Cedis Cash will go a long way to enhance effective learning, increase their nutritional value and improve on their health condition. Present at the event were Mr Osam Sarsah who stood in for the Headmistress of the Dzorwulu Special School, Headmistress of the Garrison School, Mrs. Elizabeth Nyarko; CEO of Rite Multimedia, Mr Yaw Sakyi; Production Manager of Rite Multimedia, Lawrence Nartey Kornor and other important dignitaries.
