Okudzeto Ablakwa Is Innocent - Isofoton

Officials of Isofoton SA, the company at the center of a US$1.3 million judgment debt controversy has denied deputy Information Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was fronting for them when he enquired about their judgment debt settlement with a former Attorney General, Martin Amidu. Mr. Amidu alleged on Thursday Mr. Ablakwa called him to plead for the company to be paid off while the matter was still in court. Though Mr. Ablakwa admitted calling the former A-G, he said he never pleaded for the money to be paid. A local representative of the company, Anane Agyei-Forson told Citi News, the junior minister only acted on a petition sent to him. We had written about two or three letters to Martin Amidu because we were having problems in the settlement of the judgment debt, but he didnt reply. I didnt send anyone to Martin Amidu. Why do we have to send someone to him? he questioned.
