NDC, NPP Pose Security And Financial Threats To Ghana - Akomfrah

For the country to move forward and become prosperous, Ghanaians must do away with the ruling National Democratic Congress and the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). This is according to the Communications Director of the Conventions Peoples Party (CPP), Nii Armah Akomfrah. Speaking to some journalists from the partys head office in Accra, Nii Armah Akomfrah affirmed that the scale of disillusion and disenchantment among Ghanaians was running very deep, with many concerned about the acrimony and hatred between the NPP and NDC. He said that Ghanaians were aware of the polarisation that the two parties had brought to the nation over the years leading to what he says is the total collapse of national cohesion. That many blame them for the tensions during the Biometric registration exercise leading to hate speech, that many now blame the acrimony between them as the cause of the huge financial liabilities of Judgement and Settlement Debts, he said. Mr Akomfrah added that "Ghanaians believe the NPP and NDC have not only been a security threat to the stability of the nation but also a financial threat to the future of the nation in taking the country into a huge and wasteful ditch of judgement and settlement debt." He said going round the country the CPP message has been simple and straight forward - the CPP gave birth to the nation and like any mother child relationship the CPP puts the country first ahead of its interest, that the CPP has suffered the pain of the country over the years watching the NPP and NDC polarising the country and wasting the countrys financial and other resources. The only way forward is for Ghanaians to solve the problem once and for all by keeping these two parties away from Government in the coming elections he said. He went on to indicate that the Successor Generation are now at the helm of affairs of the CPP and are determined that Ghana Must Work Again. He said the CPP candidates are currently engaged in door to door campaigns in many parts of the country to win the hearts of Ghanaians.
