The headline sponsor of New Edubiase United Sidalco Company Limited has presented a brand new 40-seater bus to the club ahead of Sunday�s MTN FA Cup final showdown against Ashgold.
The Bekwai-based club has been impressive since they qualified to the elite division three seasons ago and are set for their first major silverware after beating relegated side Wassaman United in the Semi-final on Sunday.
The CEO of Sidalco Company limited David Lamptey told Radio XYZ the presentation was made to motivate the players ahead of Sunday�s game.
�It is a form of motivation to tell the boys that we are prepared for them and that we are ever prepared to support them adequately for the final,� he said.
Even though the team will be missing the services of last season�s top scorer Emmanuel Baffuor and midfielder Mumuni Abubakar, who have both been transferred to South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, the side looks set to give the Miners a befitting final.
Lamptey added: �In whatever you do, motivation is the key to success. The players will be informed that the promise of their bus has come and if they win on Sunday, more of those things will be coming.
�I believe that by the Grace of God, Sunday will be a thing of the past because we are winning and we will participate in the African agenda.�
