Yar'Adua, Mills And 6 Other African Presidents Who Died In The Line Of Duty

Former President Prof. John Fiifi Atta Mills, 68, is the first Ghanaian President to have died while in office and thus not been able to complete his first term. The late President Mills passed away on Tuesday July 24 at the 37 Military Hospital at 14.15 GMT. He has been in power since 2009. President Mills a few weeks ago returned to Ghana after visiting the US for medical check-up. As the world joins hands with over 24 million Ghanaians mourning the death of her President, Prof. John Fiifi Atta Mills, thoughts and memories are evoked of other leaders who passed away in similar fashion.
