Mills' Wife Shocks Rawlings...As She Sacks Him From Their Home

As the nation observes the week of the death of President J.E.A. Mills, former President JJ Rawlings had the shock of his life when Dr. Mrs Naadu Mills yesterday asked him not to step into her home at the Regimanuel Grey Estate in Accra. The former President yesterday sneaked out of his residence to go and pay a courtesy call on the otherwise quiet widow, whose husband he bad-mouthed on international platform upon hearing of his death. The Enquirer newspaper was reliably informed that when former President Rawlings got to the house, the members of the National House of Chiefs, led by Prof. Naa John Nabila, were already at the residence to console the bereaved former first lady.
