Moments When You Should Not Be Cheap

Are you the type to pinch pennies? What about spending hours at the shopping mall because youre looking for the best deal? Maybe youre the type to go couponing? Its always good to save a few bucks, but there are some occasions when its inappropriate or flat out tacky to do so. These moments can not only embarrass you, but also embarrass the people around you. Here are some situations where you should avoid counting every single penny. A night on the town Theres nothing more annoying than getting all dolled up for a girls night, only to have that one friend bring the whole group down because they only want to spend a certain amount of money. Its one thing if you just dont have the money, but its a whole different story if you have the money and are just being cheap. Youre definitely not helping the situation by complaining about prices. In fact, the only one youre helping is yourself. Do the group a favor and just stay home. On a date Most of you ladies are probably thinking, but wait a minute a gentleman should always pay the tab. In a perfect world, yes, your date would sweep you off your feet, spend lots of cash, and drop you off at home in a beautiful horse drawn carriage. Sorry ladies, welcome to the year 2012 where chivalry is dead, and men have no shame going halfsies on a date. Never go on a date broke. Its best to be prepared in case you end up with the date from hell. Getting your hair done Dont be the woman who goes out to get her hair done and comes back with a cheap weave. If you do, dont be surprised if the word ghetto or rachet comes lingering your way. Being a bad hairstyle is just one of those things that if you cant do it right, then you shouldnt do it at all, and often the price you pay is on par with the finished product. Is it really worth sitting in a salon chair for hours only for you to come out looking like you sat there for minutes?
