Emmanuel Clottey: Berekum Chelsea Take The CAF Champions League As World Cup

Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has said the Blues see the 2012 Caf Champions League as the World Cup and that spurs them on to continue to shine. Speaking to Goal.com Ghana ahead of their departure to Cairo for their third group game against Al Ahly, the 24-year-old said they play each game as �the World Cup final� and they will continue to �press on with that fighting spirit� against the Red Devils on Saturday. Clottey, who has stood out in their debut campaign, is leading the goal scorer�s chart with 11 goals with two hat-tricks to boast of making sure the Blues stay second in Group B. The Ghanaians have been impressive in a unit comprising former champions � TP Mazembe, Zamalek and Al Ahly. Clottey said he has been astonished with the level of support Ghanaians, irrespective of the clubs they support in the domestic top flight have given them in the elite continental tournament. �Ghanaians have shown that we are united. We are doing this for God and country and we�ll continue to do our best to make Ghana proud,� Clotted said. He added: �The Champions League trophy must come to Ghana and we�ll do everything possible to keep that dream. Our time has come and we must not let it slip from our hands.�
