Reading To Capture Jordan Ayew

Newly promoted English Premier League side Reading are reported to have tabled a bid for Olympic Marseille player Jordan Ayew. The 20-year-old has attracted a value of � 4 million. The Ghanaian striker who is the last son of football legend Abedi Pele is yet to command a regular place at the French Ligue 1 outfit. The Stade de Velodrome side has not hidden their intentions of balancing their books with Jordan�s senior brother Andre Dede Ayew also rumoured to be one of the players to be sold due to his upscale value. If the deal is sealed, Jordan will join the shortlist of Ghanaian players in the English top flight made up of Michael Essien (Chelsea) and Emmanuel Frimpong (Arsenal) who is nearing his nationality switch to be eligible to play for Ghana. Jordan has eight Black Stars caps with two goals to his credit.
