Charles Taylor Rubbishes Quit Rumour

Berekum Chelseas mercurial midfielder Charles Taylor has rubbished recent media claims that he has retired from football. It is not true that I am quitting football. I dont know where the writer got the story from because I havent spoken with any journalist in that regard. I dont know how some journalists go about their duties. He didnt act professionally at all, and I am not happy about that. You see, the fact that I am injured does not mean I have quit soccer. I came close to returning to the pitch, but I collided with a playmate during our final training session for the Raja Casablanca second leg game, he said on Happy FM. The ex Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko playmaker also expressed worry about the fact that he has not given his best shot since joining the Champions League campaigners. But he was quick to state that he still has a lot up his sleeves and he was optimistic that with time, Chelsea would benefit from his service. The former Etoile du Sahel player, nicknamed Terrible Terror, has encountered countless defenders but two among the lot stand very tall-Stephen Tetteh and Sani Wahab, both former Hearts of Oak players. He mentioned that the famous 4-0 Hearts of Oak thrashing of perennial rivals Kotoko as well as Kotokos 2-0 win over Hearts in a Top 4 competition bring him fond memories.
