Public Servants Should Stop The Lackadaisical Attitude Towards Work.

President John Mahama has condemned the lackadaisical attitude of Public Service Employees towards work. He noted that increased pay goes hand in hand with increased productivity and the tax payer must get value for money. President Mahama cited for instance workers at the ministries and police officers who still take bribes inspite of the upward adjustment in salaries. Delivering a Policy Statement of government for the next four months, President Mahama emphasised that his government will insist that Public Servants work to justify any salary increment.
