Alhaji Saeed Sinare, Ghanas Ambassador to Egypt, has urged the Zongo communities to stand solidly behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and vote massively to return it to power. He encouraged the partys supporters in those areas to work tirelessly to win over more voters to help substantially increase the NDCs share of popular votes in the December 7 elections. Alhaji Sinare was inaugurating the Ashanti Region branch of the Zongo for Mahama (ZFM) club at Old Tafo in Kumasi. The Club has been formed to solicit support for President John Dramani Mahama. He advised them to tell the success story of the government to aid the people to make the right choices. Alhaji Sofo Jajah, the founder, pledged their resolve to work hard and make the needed sacrifices to woo more voters for the NDC and its flag-bearer. He appealed to the people to join the Club in their numbers. Mr Akwasi Abayie, the Ashanti Regional first Vice-Chairman of the NDC, called on the people to ignore the free Senior High School (SHS) promise by the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), saying it was not feasible and could not be implemented. Mr Mohammed Rabui Omar is chairman of the Clubs 16-member regional executive.
