The people of Keta are to benefit from modern landing sites to expedite and enhance their fishing activities which are the mainstay of the people.
Funds for the project are part of the three billion China Development Bank, CDB, facility sourced from China by the Late President John Mills to roll out massive infrastructure developments across the country.
Additionally, government has allocated GH� 7,000.00 for the building of an ultra modern depot at Aflao in the Ketu South District for the Metro Mass Transit Limited.
This will not only create jobs but enable transportation on the busy Aflao route to be well serviced.
President John Dramani Mahama announced these at separate rallies at Aflao and Keta as he rounded up his Volta Region tour.
