A member of the NPP�s Communications team, John Kumah has explained the events leading to his arrest by the Economic and Organized Crimes Office (EOCO) last week.
Mr. Kumah was arrested by EOCO due to an alleged forgery of some documents by his company to access loans. He was picked up on Wednesday together with his business Consultant, only known as Henry by officials of EOCO.
EOCO however granted him bail on Friday.
Addressing the matter for the first time, after his release, John Kumah wrote this on his Facebook wall that �I was picked up after a radio programme on Okay FM by EOCO at about 5pm. I was told I was under arrest when we got to their office.�
�I hired the services of a Consultant friend to source a facility for my company about two years ago. It turns out that some of the documents he procured for me were forged so they arrested the Consultant as well,� he explained. Mr. Kumah however gave the assurance that �I am not a fraudster as the NDC want the world to believe. Time will tell.�
