Two Arrested In Norway For Stealing Asantehene's Jewels

The Norwegian Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of crown jewels belonging to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. A suitcase containing the jewels believed to have been used by the Asantehene to perform ceremonial duties for his people were allegedly stolen from a luggage in the lobby of the Radisson Blue Plaza Hotel in Oslo, Norway last Wednesday. Otumfuo Osei Tutu has been attending a conference organized by the Norwegian-African Business Association in that country. Secretary to the Asantehene, Kofi Owusu Boateng in an interview with XYZ News said the Asantehene is satisfied with investigations done so far. I just called Oslo and they said they are making progress. They have a picture of the person who picked the bag on CCTV. Mr. Owusu Boateng however added that the Asantehene is not worried by the situation even though he is monitoring what happens after two people were arrested.
