President Mahama Says People�s Rights To Association Must Be Respected

President John Dramani Mahama has been speaking on the recent comments made by former President Jerry John Rawlings at the Congress of the National Democratic Party, NDP in Kumasi. Interacting with the Presidential Press-Corps shortly upon arrival at the Airport from a campaign tour of parts of the Volta and the Northern regions, President Mahama noted that everyone has the right to join any association and those choices must be respected. He stated that it is not a big deal for the former President to decide to join the NDP. For him, the focus now is looking beyond the elections where every Ghanaian would have access to development. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah who is the campaign coordinator of the NDC says to him so far so good the campaign has been successful and the party looks forward to working harder.
