Ghana's success has been globally acknowledged as a classic example of a country that has embraced the principles of good governance, human rights and democracy.
It has therefore been described as the brightest spot of Africa's democratic future.
In a message, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Alhaji Muhammed Mumuni, said in an increasingly globalised world, these issues have assumed center stage in Africa's development and Ghana is showing the way.
Alhaji Mumuni said this at the opening of the International conference of the Community Court of Justice of the ECOWAS.
