Okudjeto Ablakwa Files Nomination

Deputy Minister for Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is now the bona fide NDC parliamentary candidate of the North Tongu constituency after filing his nomination papers Wednesday for the December 7, polls. A huge crowd welcomed the aspiring MP at Adidome to demonstrate their support for the fearless, young politician. Honourable Okudjeto Ablakwa was accompanied to the EC district office at Adidome by the NDC constituency officer Michael Lajaglah and the District Chief Executive Alhaji Dubey Dzinabu. His filing papers were then duly received by the district returning officer, Apetor Williams to formally put him in the campaign mood for the December election mood. Okudzeto Ablakwa is one of the young, enterprising candidates aspiring to enter parliament on the ticket of the ruling NDC. Others are NDC Propaganda Secretary Richard Quarshigah and Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Fiifi Kwetey. With these young politicians in the next parliament, Ghanaians are assured of interesting times ahead. The filing of nominations across the country is expected to end on Thursday, October 18, 2012.
