Head of Policy Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at the Presidency, Dr. Tony Aidoo, believes flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has surpassed the stage of hypocrisy and metamorphosed into an �evil� agent. The former Deputy Defence Minister in the erstwhile Rawlings regime slammed Nana Addo for trying to portray himself as a �holier than thou� politician by criticizing the NDC and labeling the leadership of the party and government as corrupt, when there is empirical evidence to show that he (Nana Addo) aided in the payment of judgment debts. The NDC kingpin thus cautioned Ghanaians to be wary and kick against any political message from Nana Addo, since it is obvious he wll do anything in the name of power to hoodwink the electorate into believing he is the most pious presidential candidate in this year�s elections. �Akufo Addo has used judgement debts as a platform to damn President Mills, the NDC and President Mahama for the past two years. He�s done that with insinuations and false allegations�he went to the Volta Region and created the impression that there was a conspiracy to pay Woyome huge judgment debts for the purpose of NDC government officials, getting a kick back. And all this while, there was real concrete evidence that he actually is the one who has been indulging in this kind of nefarious evil practice,� Tony Aidoo said. In a rather scathing attack on the NPP leader, the NDC firebrand, who was speaking in an interview with Radio Gold, implicitly labeled Nana Addo a �criminal� and a con man who needed to be confined to the sidelines of politics in the country. �The Ghanaian electorate must realize that if they buy a used car from Akufo Addo, they will find out that the car doesn�t even have an engine,� Dr. Aidoo stated. The former Lecturer of the Cape Coast University further accused the NPP presidential candidate of being so desirous of tasting power so much so that he will not hesitate to sell his (Nana Addo) own mother to achieve that feat. ��this is a man who can�t be trusted�this is a man who can sell his mum and go and deliver her just because he wants to be a president�, he remarked.
