The Regional Minister for the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo has admonished assembly members, as well as workers of the Adentan Municipal Assembly to ensure �discipline and fairness� as they serve the public. He said their positions as high level officials in the municipality is to assist solve the worries and socio-economic problems of the people living in the area and therefore must be circumspect and tactical in their operation in the area. Mr. Nii Afotey Agbo made the observation during a public forum organized by the Assembly and dubbed �the Adentan Municipal Assembly in focus� which took place at the forecourt of the assembly premises on Tuesday 23 October, 2012. He however commended the Municipal Chief Executive Nubyl Kakra Van-Lare and the entire assembly for a good work done in the area, as he touted a string of projects which have been accomplished across board in the relevant sectors of the area. He lauded the efforts and commitment of the assembly so far in attending to a number of road projects in the municipality. He noted that several stretches in the area have been worked on and improved, saying that almost all the roads have been tarred in the area. He revealed that the NDC government has managed to solve the water issue in the country and will barely be sustainable for a period of 45 years. He said residents will soon witness this massive transformation in the water system of the area. The Minister however claimed that the government over the years has made significant efforts to improve the level of development in the country, adding that the NDC government can�t �afford to do any shoddy work in development matters�.
