Nana Addo's Crowd Is Nothing Compared To Even The First Lady's - Azorka

The Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chief Sofo Azorka, has laughed off the crowd that welcomed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo to the Northern Region on Sunday. According to Sofo Azorka, the crowd that welcomed Nana Addo is not even deserving of the arrival of the First Lady, Lordina Mahama. Nana Addo arrived in Tamale on Sunday for Tuesdays Institute of Economic Affais (IEA) Presidential Debate amidst a large crowd of supporters and party faithful. President Mahama is expected to arrive in Tamale later on Monday evening. But speaking to XYZ News, Sofo Azorka said even though the president has asked for things to be done with a low profile, he cannot guarantee that the supporters of the party will agree. We our crowd is only Tamale, Nana Addos [crowd was from] all over the constituencies all the northern region constituencies. They bring people. But if we say we are coming out in our numbers, they know, he said. He said while hundreds of people came to meet Nana Akufo-Addo, thousands of people will come out to meet the president from Tamale alone.
