A former Deputy National Youth Organizer of the Convention People�s Party (CPP), Francis Opai Tetteh has pitched camp with the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the December general elections.
Mr. Tetteh in a press statement indicated that his decision to join the ruling party was informed by �the incomparable humility, assertiveness, stewardship, positive attitude, competitiveness and tenacity leadership qualities of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.�

Fellow Ghanaians, the incomparable humility, assertiveness, stewardship, positive attitude, competitiveness and tenacity leadership qualities of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has attracted me magnetically and also inspired me to join the National Democratic Congress.
He has indeed, demonstrated beyond every reasonable doubt that he is not a war drum beating ethnocentric politician or a potential threat to our thriving multi-party democracy.
I would therefore like to announce with great passion, eagerness and excitement to the good people of Ghana, my irrevocable decision to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with effect from today, 1st November, 2012.
I am Francis Opai Tetteh, the former Deputy National Youth Organizer of the Convention People�s Party and the 2004 and 2008 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Yilo Krobo Constituency in the Eastern region of Ghana.
I have served the CPP with a wholehearted devotion and clarity of purpose for twelve solid years. I therefore bring on board the NDC an unyielding drive to accomplish the one touch victory goal and the Better Ghana Agenda.
Fellow Ghanaians, there is a worrying side of the Nana Akufo-Addo�s Free Senior High School policy proposal for election 2012 that the entire nation is conspicuously mute about.
I would like to use this opportunity to remind Ghanaians about this potential threat so that we can address it collectively.
In spite of the fact that the School Feeding Programme was not implemented nationwide but in few schools in selected Districts, the NPP administration had to go for aid and grants from Europe to fund it.
It is therefore clear that the free senior high school which will require enormous funding will also attract foreign financiers other than internally generated funds.
The mind boggling question is, which foreign institutions or individuals are the possible financiers of Nana Addo�s free SHS policy?
Not long ago, Mr. David Cameron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom issued a threat to cut off aid and grants to Ghana if we do not permit gay, lesbian, abortionist and pedophile rights.
His threats received an unflinchingly support from Mr. Barrack Obama. The then President of Ghana, the late Professor Atta Mills spared no efforts at all to step forward to defend the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the republic of Ghana.
When Ghanaians called on Nana Addo as the leader of the largest opposition party in Parliament and a potential president of Ghana to state his position on the issue of gay rights, he declined comments.
Just around the same time he was invited by Chancellor Angela Mickel to visit Germany. Nana Addo returned from Europe with a renewed obsession to give Ghana Free SHS.
Fellow Ghanaians, if we fail as nation to demand a comprehensive funding plan of Nana Addo�s Free SHS policy, this country will regrettably end up in mortgaging its public school system to Gay, Lesbian, Abortionist and Pedophile financiers as it is the case of American public schools today.
