Enthusiastic Supporters Welcome President Mahama In Upper West

Enthusiastic supporters made up of both young and old met President Mahama at the air strip to welcome him from Nandom where he had addressed a similar rally. They escorted the president and his entourage to the Tindamba Park where many people were already waiting to listen to the message of the president. President Mahama said four years of NDC in office is either equal to or even better than the NPPs eight years in office. He wondered what good record the NPP has especially in the Upper West Region that it is asking for the mandate of the people. President Mahama said the water problem confronting people of the region will be a thing of the past should they vote to retain NDC in power. Earlier President Mahama addressed NDC party faithful at Jirapa, Lawra and Nandom and introduced all the parliamentary candidates of the areas to the people. At Nandom, the paramount Chief Naa Dr Puore Puobe Chir, expressed gratitude to the government for creating a district and a constituency for the area and appealed for more resources to develop the district.
