President Mahama Challenges NPP On Educational Sector

President John Mahama has challenged the NPP to show any major expansion in the educational sector during its tenure in office. Addressing a large crowd of enthusiastic students of the Bolgatanga Polytechnic, President Mahama asked the students to critically check the records in terms of delivery in the Educational sector. Aside from a number of Basic schools, the NDC has built seven new polytechnics as well as Universities. He asked the students not to be deceived by empty promises making the rounds. The Bolgatanga Polytechnic is one of the babies of the NDC government. President Mahama condemned the free SHS policy of the NPP saying it is not feasible without the requisite infrastructure to accommodate the students. He maintained that the NDC believes in improving access, reliance and quality as far as education is concerned
