Be Remembered Positively When You Die Koku Anyindoho

Spokesperson for the late President John Atta Mills, Koku Anyidoho has advised the political heads and public office holders to live a life which will keep us positively on the minds of the nation when our time is past and gone. Speaking at the funeral ceremony of the late former Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama at the Independence Square in Accra on Sunday, Mr. Anyidoho noted that the befitting tributes which have been given to the late President and former Vice President should be a lesson to the youth who are in active politics in the country. When President Mills died, the tributes, the things that people said how he was mourned and buried; today, its the turn of Alhaji Aliu Mahama and obviously, the tributes are also befitting. So I think that for young guys like us, as we move on, its important that look, yes politics but beyond politics we need to live a certain life that will stand us in good stead when our time comes, he said. He mentioned that the death of the late former Vice President has resurrected memories of the passing of the late President Mills and for some who thought that we were getting over what happened to us about four months ago, just brings the memories streaming back and we just hope that we can hold back our emotions.
