Black Stars midfielder Andre Ayew for the second consecutive time has been shortlisted for the CAF African player of the year award. The Olympic Marseille star who missed out on the final five-man shortlist of the BBC African footballer of the year which he won last year will contest with Ivorian duo of Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba, Cameroon�s Alex Song and Senegal�s Demba Ba for this year's African player of the year award.
