Political Party Leaders Criss Cross Each Other On Campaign Trail Towards Election 2012

Political Party leaders are working feverishly on their campaign trails to convince the electorate to vote for them. NDCs presidential candidate John Mahama is in the Ashanti Region whiles the NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo Addo is in the Central Region. Presidential candidates of the Convention People's Party (CPP), PNC, PPP and the other parties are in the other parts of the country also campaigning. In Ashanti Region, President John Dramani Mahama appealed to Ghanaians to do all in their will to avoid being provoked by anyone at polling stations on election day. He stated that this will also mean that people must not loiter around the Polling stations after they have cast their ballots. He said the NDC stands for Peace and will accept the outcome of the elections as the voice of the people. At Cape Coast, Nana Akuffo Addo delivered his policy on Education at the University of Cape Coast. He said he will make a special push to get all children into school at the right age. He said every school built in a rural area will have a teachers bungalow. The GCPP on its part says it will empower farmers through soft loans to produce more and make Ghana the bread basket of West Africa when it comes to power. The party says the problem with local farmers has been the high interest on loans and the wrong time that the monies are given to them.
