Information rife to peacefmonline.com has it that eight people have been trapped when a galamsey pit they were working in collapsed at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
So far, only two people have been rescued with five more trapped.
They two rescued are Kweku Amponsah and Mumuni. However, Kweku Amponsah died upon arrival at the hospital.
