Peacefmonline.com can confirm that former Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, will be going to the Education Ministry as the sector Minister in the first batch of Ministerial appointments announced by President John Dramani Mahama. President Mahama has also put forward the name of Seth Terkper to take over from Kwabena Duffuor as the Finance Minister after vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament. Outgoing Trade and Industry Minister, Ms. Hannah Tetteh has been nominated as the new Minister for Foreign Affairs Ministry. If she goes through the parliamentary vetting unscathed, she will replace the outgoing Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni who recently won the Kumbungu Constituency seat. Akwesi Oppong Fosu will be the New Local Government Minister while Clement Humado has been moved from the Sports Ministry to head the Agric Ministry. More anon....
