Legendary Ghana goalkeeper Joe Carr claims Black Stars first choice keeper Adam Kwarasey has lost confidence but insists he must be maintained.
The Stromsgodset shot-stopper, 25, allowed in two easy goals in the first half and was replaced by Daniel Agyei in Ghana�s 4-2 win over Tunisia in a warm-up game in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Carr is sure Kwarasey has lost his confidence.
�He has obviously lost his confidence and that was evident in the game against Tunisia,� he told Accra-based Peace FM.
Though AshGold shot-stopper Fatau Dauda put in a solid performance in the 3-0 win over Egypt last week, the former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper who made four Nations Cup appearances insists Kwarasey must be maintained as first choice goalkeeper.
�The psychologist in the team must try and talk to him and psyche him well and let him know he still remains the first choice goalkeeper.
�He was at the last AFCON and his experience would be crucial to the team.
The Norwegian-born was a bit jittery on his debut AFCON appearance in the 2012 Gabon and Equatorial Guinea campaign.
