The �Let My Vote Count Alliance� , a rainbow coalition of likeminded Ghanaians who believe in the pursuit of justice and the call for electoral reforms as the principal objective and core goal of the group, wish to use this medium to set the records straight amidst unfortunate unprofessional diabolic twist and turns given to our stories by certain media houses. The group is officially bringing to the notice and attention of the general public the following: 1. We are rallying support for the high profile case of alleged electoral fraud being pursued at Supreme Court; and 2. Calling for electoral reforms at the electoral commission These are the two cardinal principles the group, likeminded persons, and the vast majority of Ghanaians believe in and are committed to. It has, however, come to our attention that some media houses and sections the public who do not share in our ideals, for obvious and diabolic reasons, are attacking the personalities of some leading members of the group. We want to state on record and re-emphasize our position as firmly articulated by the Honorable Titus Nii Kwatei Glover, a leading member of the group, and also a Member of Parliament for Tema East on the Friday 9th February 2013 in Tema, �If you touch one, you�ve touched all.� We wish to put on record that no amount of vain threats from our detractors will deter us or cause us to wobble on the path to the pursuit of justice. We remain firm and resolute that the 2012 elections were rigged massively for John Mahama. We will march forth in our legitimate quest for justice to be served to the good people of Ghana by rallying support for the pursuit of justice and push through for drastic electoral reforms in our Electoral Commission. Statements on our platforms twisted and spinned by unprofessional media outlets and the accompanying hypocrisy will not stand. We are calling on the good people of Ghana to reject those twisted statements as outright falsehood. The group has never, and will never threaten judges of the Supreme Court; neither has the group ever called on its supporters to throw bombs. These are absolute lies and deception. The let my vote count alliance is committed to deepening democracy through the pursuit of justice by legitimate and legal means.
