ECOBANK Ghana Limited on Wednesday launched its new brand campaign, The Future Is Pan African. The campaign is an indication that the bank is ready to follow through to the future by taking businesses to the next level. The new campaign, seeks to better position the brand in Africa, as well as serving people with new enthusiasm and helping to accomplish goals and desires of an individual or corporate body; whether big or small. Commenting on the launch, Mr. George Mensah-Asante, Head of Domestic Banking Ghana, said: Ecobank Ghanas vision is to contribute to the economic development and financial integration of Africa. Africa constitutes one of the worlds fastest growing economies and, as part of the leading pan-African banking group, Ecobank Ghana is in an excellent position to offer our customers best in-class products and services. Ecobank Ghana has grown consistently over the years to become one of the leading banks in Ghana and a well-recognised brand in the Ghanaian banking industry. The bank has embarked upon a medium term strategic shift from a predominantly wholesale bank to a full-service bank with over 79 branches and over 200 ATMs across the country. The fully integrated advertising campaign was launched by the Ecobank Group in Lom҄e in December 2012 and is being progressively rolled out across all of the African countries in which Ecobank has retail presence. The thinking behind this campaign is that, with a presence now in 33 African countries, and growing, Ecobank is the one bank capable of creating necessary change in Africa that will empower its people and business enterprises to unlock the full value that Africa holds. The campaign demonstrates how the bank will leverage this reach across Africa and its local knowledge of the African people to create a better future for this dynamic continent. The activating light featured throughout our advertising messages represents the torch in our logo, whose effect is that Ecobank is lighting the way for the economic development and financial integration of the African continent, Mr. Samuel Ashitey Adjei, Managing Director of Ecobank added.
