CAF Sidelines Ghanaian Referees In 2013 Africa Youth Championship

The Confederation of African Football has overlooked the west African country's referees in the upcoming AYC tournament. Ghanaian referees will miss out on officiating in the upcoming 2013 Africa Youth Championship which takes place from March 16-30 in Algeria. No Ghanaian made the cut when the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed the final list of referees for the Under-20 tournament. In the last edition of the Africa Youth Championship which was held in South Africa 2011, Ghana had one representation in assistant referee AS Malik who went as far as officiating in the semi-finals of the competition. The list includes 10 centre referees, two reserve referees, 14 assistant referees and two reserve assistant referees.
