TT Brothers: Hearts of Oak Wants Someone Who Will Understand The Supporters As A CEO

The President of relegated Division One side, Pure Joy Stars FC, and former Accra Hearts of Oak management member Isaac Tetteh a.k.a T.T. Brothers has said that, currently Hearts of Oak must elect a CEO who will understand the club supporters as most of them are yelling for victory. Four top football administrators are habouring the dream to become the CEO of the oldest football club in Ghana. The race for the vacant CEO position of Hearts of Oak has been limited to four; Vincent Sowah Odotei, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, Cudjoe Fianoo and Randy Abbey. According to TT Brother, all these football gurus are cable of managing Hearts of Oak but he would prefer a CEO who will attend to the diehard supporters of the Oak tree first. They (Vincent Sowah Odotei, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, Cudjoe Fianoo and Randdy Abbey) can all do the job. If you look at where Hearts is on the league table, if we want someone to manage Hearts, we must look for someone who will understand the supporters and have them as his priority. Someone who understands football and knows how to make the Oak tree stand again, he said. He continued; Hearts of Oak doesnt want someone who will think about his self-interest. We want someone who can unearth talents and scout for good players, someone who will have the team at heart. That is the type of CEO Hearts of Oak needs now. Speaking to Peace FM on Peace Power Sports programme, Isaac Tetteh explained his inability to choose his favorite among the four front runners but was quick to say he will be thrilled with whoever the supporters and the board chairman hire. To be honest, I am a business person and I cant underrate all these gentlemen. Each of them works differently. Action speaks louder than words. In management, you must use your intellect and be dedicated. If I am forced to pick even one out of two of these gentlemen, I will not do that. Whoever the supporters and the board management will choose I will support the person, he stressed. Hearts of Oak have been without a substantive CEO since Fred Crentsil left the position in November 2012 to take up the position of Ghana Football Association Vice President.
