Black Stars Trophy Drought Spiritual - Rev. Osei Kofi

Ghana great Reverend Osei Kofi claims the Black Stars inability to win a trophy since 1982 is purely spiritual and not technical or psychological as others want Ghanaians to believe. The Black Stars have remained trophyless since they last won the Championship in Libya in 1982. Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi attributed the teams failure to nick the continental title to psychological problems. But the Asante Kotoko legend claims such suggestion from the countrys FA boss is far from the reality, claiming it has got spiritual undertone. The then head of state, General Ignatius Acheampong told the Black Stars team at the time that if they won the 1978 African Nations Cup, every player would be given a State house, Kofi told Skyy Power FM Ghana won it, and the players were supposed to get the State houses at Dansoman Estates. Initially Mohammed Polo was given one, but when the other players didnt receive their houses, Polo had to buy the house to stop the authorities from retrieving the property from him. When such promises are made and broken, why would we win anything? he asked What psychological problems is Nyantakyi talking about? He should go and get a psychologist for the team as he has done and see if the Black Stars will win anything. The teams problems are not psychological, but spiritual, The Black Stars have placed fourth in the last two African Cup of Nations editions.
