Spokesperson: Woyome Wants No Noise Making And Heckling When Travelling

Spokesperson for businessman Alfred Woyome, Mr. Kwame Tawiah, has cleared the air surrounding his clients petition to Justice Ajet-Nassam to embark on a trip to the United States of America, stating that the petition was raised to cure the mischief certain people are bound to raise should they see Mr. Woyome at the airport. According to Mr. Tawiah, Mr. Woyome, who is at the center of the GHC 51m judgment debt saga, deliberately presented the petition to the trial judge in order to squash any heckling that might hinder his checks at the Kotoka International Airport. Although the presiding judge made things clearer to Mr. Woyome by informing him his bail terms allowed him to travel, Mr. Kwame Tawiah told Accra-based Okay FM that it was appropriate for his client to bring the issue to fore in order to avoid any form of harassment at the airport. The learned judge informed us that Woyomes bail conditions forbade anybody from taking his passport and preventing him from travelling. We later informed the judge that we were raising this concern because we dont want people to make noise and heckle Mr. Woyome when he uses the Zongo section of the airport, he said.
