Investigations will vindicate me- MASLOC CEO

Mrs Bertha Sogah, Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) on Wednesday said the Investigative Committee set up to examine alleged conflict of interest in the operations of the scheme would vindicate her. In a press statement issued in Accra and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) she again denied any wrong doing and urged the public to exercise restraint until the end of the investigation. I serve notice to all that I will do all that is humanly possible to clear my name in this matter. If I must take lawful steps against all those who have already and will denigrate, malign and defame me, I will, the statement added. Prior to the announcement, I had been requested by the Board Chairman of MASLOC to provide written responses to an anonymous allegation that had been leveled against me by an anonymous person to which I did. My understanding has been that a committee has been set up by the Chairman of the Board to investigate the issue, the statement said.
