NDC Chair Writes To Prez Mahama

The constituency chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Wasa-Saa in the Western Region, Mr Bernard Adjei, has formally written to the Inspector General of Police, Mr Alhassan Mohammed, on allegations of bribery against DSP Rhodaline Florence Annor and inspector Edward Kwaakye. He narrated how members of his family numbering 22 paid two thousand Ghana cedis each to inspector Kwaakye. The latter is said to have promised to help the 22 secure recruitment into the Ghana Police Service. The letter has been copied to the office of the President, Parliament, the Interior Ministry, the National Security Coordinator and the Bureau of National Investigations. Mr Adjei writes that he has overwhelming evidence against the two cops but a report made to the immediate past IGP, Mr Paul Tawia Quaye, has proved futile. I wish to state that times are hard and therefore pleading with the authorities to expedite actions to retrieve our monies to us he concludes.
