Leading automobile company, Modern Auto Services (MAS) Limited, has launched the latest REXTON W sports utility vehicle (SUV) onto the Ghanaian market. The car, manufactured by the Ssangyong motor Company of South Korea and having E-tronic 5-speed automatic transmission from Mercedes-Benz, carries a stylish facelift that builds on the impressive features of the previous Rexton. The launch, held at the MAS showroom on the Graphic Road in Accra, witnessed a massive patronage by business executives and automobile enthusiast. Also present were top-notch executives of the Kalmoni Group of Companies. In a speech, the General Manager of MAS, Mr Amine Kabbara, noted that the new Rexton W remained true to its brand identity, offering users with upgraded elements that maximise the pleasure and value. �it is a high quality vehicle which is good for the Ghanaian environment, in that it is strong and durable and also low on fuel consumption,� he said, insisting that automobile users now have the opportunity to savour the ingenuity and security that the car offers. Mr Kabbara noted the New Rexton W is made to meet the challenges of our road and traffic environment, recommending it for diverse driving conditions such as congested city traffic, winding roads, hilly terrain and off-road conditions. He added the car has been built for the individual who prioritized luxury, class and safety, with over 20 major changes to the exterior and interior as compared to its predecessor �Rexton 2�. For his part, the Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Ghana, Mr. Alhassan Andani, who was the special guest of honour, recommended the car for use by all businessmen and executives because of its impressive list of features. �I�ve checked it myself and what I can say, aside its prestigious appearance that will make you receive good gestures, is that, it gives you value for money,� he said. The launch was also used to introduce two new vehicles from Ssangyong; the petrol engine version of the Korando SUV and the all new Actyon Sports luxury pick-up.
