Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah says he will not hesitate to respond to the call of God on his life as prophesied by Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, founder of the Royal House Chapel International, a few weeks ago.
Appiah, currently a free agent and a committed member of the Royal House Chapel, a few weeks ago, received the prophecy in a church service conducted by the Apostle-General at Ahenfie.
He joined the church in their 5-km walk on May Day yesterday, and in a post-event interview in his response to the call of God he said: �Why not, if God says yes, who am I to say no, I have received the prophecy in good faith. The man of God says I will be a minister of the gospel in future, so I am waiting, when the time comes, I will respond.
�There is nothing like doing the work of God. As you can see the expression on the faces of the people gathered here bears testimony to the fact that serving God is with while,� Appiah added.
He described the walks as a huge success, though it could not be compared to the vigorous training sessions he undertakes as a player.
The former Juventus, Parma and Fenerbahce playmaker, who is a Manchester United fan, advised all to make regular exercise a habit to take care of their health challenges.
Meanwhile, he has attributed full concentration to Dortmund�s success story in the UEFA Champions League.
