The Convention Peoples Party (CPP) Chairman for Kumbungu constituency, Peter Ibrahim Nindow has lost his job as the central Accountant of the Lamashegu branch of the First Bank. According to him, he was sacked because of his involvement in the CPP�s victory during the just ended Kumbungu Parliamentary by-election. Peter Ibrahim said he received the dismissal letter signed by the Human Resource Manager of the First Bank on Thursday. �I actually took one week leave to campaign for our candidate during the by-election; I resumed work just yesterday and when I got to the office my branch Manager gave me a letter which indicated that my appointment has been terminated.� Peter Nindow suspected political vendetta saying, �There was no reason for the termination of my appointment and I quickly asked my branch Manager why and he said the letter came from Accra but told me it was because of my active involvement in the campaigns of our Parliamentary candidate during the by-election.� He threatened to seek legal redress because he had not committed any offence to warrant his dismissal.
