The Greater Accra Chairman of the main opposition NPP, Ishmael Ashittey has told XYZ News that he doubts the credibility and loyalty of Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, one of the party's founding members.
In his autobiography, Never Say Die, which was recently launched, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, according to the Daily Dispatch which published excerpts of the book, accused Nana Akufo-Addo, former Accra Mayor Adjiri Blankson and Ishmael Ashitey for the partys defeat in the Greater Accra region.
He wrote that the NPP flagbearer chose an ineffective approach which threatened his ambitions in the region.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe also accused the regional chair of causing disaffection among leading party members in the region.
However, Ishmael Ashittey in an interview with XYZ News said Dr Nyaho-Tamakloes assertions in his book are preposterous.
According to Mr Ashittey, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has never been a serious party member.
For me nobody should take him serious, he has never contributed anything to the party and I dont know who he can bring onboard the party, so I think that people must ignore and forget about him.
Some of us dont trust him again, we dont believe he is a genuine NPP man Mr. Ashietey said.
