B.A Mensah's Family Thanks All

Former Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and C.E.O of Accra based radio station XFM, Mr. Herbert Mensah has on behalf of his family issued a letter thanking all and sundry for the various roles played before, during and after the burial of his late father, Mr. B.A. Mensah. Mr. B.A. Mensah was buried in his hometown in Kumawu over the weekend with various dignitaries participating in the celebration of the life of a great native entrepreneur whose businesses were employing thousands of Ghanaians between the 1960s and the 1980s. Below is a copy of the "Thank You Note": I thank you on behalf of Father and my Siblings for your care and support over the past two plus months. My father was always concerned as a Ghanaian whether his children could and would bury him traditionally and with the blessing of God in a manner befitting him. I would like to think that we did. In death, he was honoured with the presence of Presidents Rawlings and Kuffour as well that of His King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Amongst the other dignitaries were Nana Juabenhene and other eminent Chiefs, Nana Akuffo Addo and the entire heirachy of the NPP as well as his Pastor Arch Bishop Akrofi and 30 other Bishops and Priests. He would have been honoured and pleased by their presence. Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts Herbert Mensah
