Medeama To Pay Akowuah's GHc 50,000 Transfer Fee In Installment

The Mauves and Yellows will pay the transfer fee of the midfield anchor in installment. Midfield enforcer Malik Akowuah will earn GHc 20,000 personally in his first year with Medeama whilst the remaining GHc 30,000 will be spread within the remaining year after signing for the Ghana Glo Premier league trophy contenders, Goal Ghana understands. Akowuah signed the two-year contract with Medeama worth in the region of GHc 50,000 over the weekend after failing to find his feet at AshantiGold. The former Accra Great Olympics skipper will be ideal in the middle for the Mauves and Yellows alongside Samson Cudjoe, and he is expected to play key roles to strengthen the team. His contract with the Miners ends in two months time and it is not yet known whether they will take Medeama and the player on as he still has a running contract with them. The player who is well known for his good passes, strength and above all eye for goal has already featured for the Black Meteors and was also on the radar of Hearts of Oak.
