Kwaku Baako: Lands Commission Chairman Should Resign Or...

The Editor-in-Chief of the Crusading Guide newspaper, Kwaku Baako Jnr., has asked the Chairman of the Lands Commission, Nana Adjei Ampofo, to expose the perpetrators of acts of falsification and alteration of land documents by reporting them to the appropriate authorities or resign his position. According to the award winning Journalist, it is not the place for the Lands commission chairman to lament over the situation but must take concrete efforts to avert the situation, because he seems to know what goes on in there. He appears to know everything that is going on there. Yes, so he has evidence.that is the boss. He should expose, report to the authourities, and sanction the perpetrators otherwise he should quit his job and leave his honour intact. Simplicita! Mr. Baako insisted. The Editor-in-Chief of the Crusading Guide newspaper made this call after Mr. Adjei Ampofos condemnation of the Commission he chairs, for committing crimes against the state and believes this has contributed greatly to the publics negative image of the commission. He indicated that the commissions inability to effectively deal with the culprits of such negative behavior had not only worsened the perception of the public but also complicated land disputes in the country. Nana Adjei Ampofo made this criticism at the opening of the commissions Cooperate Performance Review in Elmina. He stated that the commission had no excuse as to why some obviously guilty personnel who had perpetrated some of these disgraceful acts were still at post. However, Kwaku Baako was of the opinion that he (Nana Adjei Ampofo) is in authourity to get a job done and not to complain or resign from his post.
