The senior national team, the Black Stars, have beaten their Sudanese counterparts by three goals to one with ten men in a crucial World Cup Qualifier at the Al-Merreikh Stadium in Omdurman, Sudan. Chasing a third consecutive appearance at the World Cup finals, the Black Stars were just one point adrift of Zambia with the side that finishes top, advancing to next round.
