Elders of the Ga state, led by Nuumo Ogbamey have forewarned President Mahama to quickly bring the services of Dr. Oko Vanderpuye to an end since they can vividly read between the lines that he is hatching diabolical plans to create a civil war in Ghana. Nuumo Ogbamey reported that unlike previous mayors, a �notorious� Oko Vanderpuye has made it a habit not to consult any of the Ga chiefs when undertaking decisions. Since two heads are always better than one, it would have been better for the current mayor to consult the elders of the Ga land before taking certain steps. Nuumo Ogbamey opined. Speaking on Okay FM, Nuumo Ogbamey, an elder of the Ga state called on President Mahama not to grant Dr. Vanderpuye a second chance to run as major. He explained that it has always been the wish of Ga chiefs to work with every mayor appointed by the president but have had enough of the gross disrespect Dr. Oko Vanderpuye has shown to them. He added that ever since the current mayor assumed office, he has never made provisions to meet with any of the Ga chiefs to decide on how to run affairs in the metropolis. Aside that Dr. Oko Vanderpuye during Homowo celebrations, has never bought even a �sachet water� and offered it to them as gift. According to him, when they try talking things out with Dr. Oko Vanderpuye, he drives them away. �When we decide to pay him a visit at home, he refuses to see us but rather picks a puppy and ascends his story building. He would play with the puppy and when he retires, he tells us to come back later�, Nuumo Ogbamey lamented.
