Customer Service Co-ordinator �Chops� Oil Money

A 30-year-old employee of an oil marketing company has been arrested for allegedly stealing GH� 6,518.31 from the company. The suspect, Dennis Amanor Tetteh, was arrested after an audit carried out by the company revealed that the said amount, being the sale of petroleum products between March and April, was missing. A report was made to the police by the management of the oil company and Tetteh was subsequently apprehended. The suspect has already appeared before an Accra Circuit Court where he was charged with stealing and granted bail to reappear later. The Accra Regional Police Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Frank Adufati, who confirmed the story to the Daily Graphic in Accra, said Tetteh was the customer service co-ordinator of the company�s business outlet in Ada. He said Tetteh, after admitting to the offence during interrogation, refunded GH�1,300 of the money he allegedly stole. In May, 2013, five employees of the same company were arrested for allegedly stealing GH�852,877.55 from the company.
