I Will Never Ever Trust Prez Mahama To Fight Corruption

Central Regional Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan has insisted that whereas others applause President Mahamas attempt to fight corruption in his administration, he will never sing to that chorus. According to him, President Mahama when he was the vice-president to late Prof. John Evan Atta Mills was unable to execute corruption issues which had consumed the Mills administration. I will never ever trust President John Mahama to ever fight corruption, I will never. President John Mahama over the weekend directed the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice to set up a special desk to investigate and prosecute all offenders who have been captured in the report of the Auditor-General concerning squandered state funds and assets. The President said the directive and its implementation is part of efforts toward forestalling corruption in public offices. He believes this will send a strong warning to public officials that they cannot abuse state finances and resources and go scot free. But in sharp response on PEACE FMs morning show KOKROKOO, Kwamena Duncan urged Prez Mahama to rather make the effort to retrieve monies which the court has ordered Waterville and ISOFOTON to pay back with interest in the judgement debt case which is being battled by Mr. Martin Amidu. Has he (President Mahama) not heard that, Martin Amidu Citizen Vigilante has pursued the judgement debt case which the court has ordered Waterville and ISOFOTON to pay back? It is close to two to three weeks now and the government has not made any attempt to get the money back, he opined The directive he (Prez Mahama) gave will end up to nothing - Why, because monies disbursed for the Boys for Mahama and Girls for Mahama during the 2012 election campaign has been captured in the Auditor Generals report. I will not depart from it President Mahama does not have that solid platform to fight corruption as far as he remains in office. There have been many committees to fight corruption which has amounted to nothing...President Mahama to fight corruption? we will not waste our ears, he added.
